Yellow Leopard Print

0

Here's a shot of my leopard manicure in front of the Pantheon in Rome, Italy!

For the base, I used a baby yellow and a shimmery pale gold on the 4th finger.

I then painted some random spots of the gold on the yellow nails. This does not have to be neat at all!

Then I outlined the gold spots with a black nail striper messily to get the leopard print.

0

Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription service that comes with a new makeup bag and 5 beauty sample products for the price of $10 USD/month.

This month's bag came in a nude pink colored mesh pattern with a cute bend over style! I really like it! :)

What I got this month:

Tarte - Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in Rose - 1 ml
I have a couple of these Tarte Lip Paints and I really like them. Tarte is one of my favourite brands! They are non-transferable and very comfortable on. They don't feel dry on my lips. I love this rose color I got and will definitely be using this lots! Thumbs up!

So Susan - Blush in Rose Rust - 3 g
I have tried this brand before from Ipsy and was pretty impressed by the quality and the ingredients in their products. This is another makeup product with safer ingredients. I love the color of this blush. It is soft and quite pigmented so you have to be careful when applying. It also has a nice sheen for a luminized finish.

JeNu - Marine Collagen Mineral Gel - 5 ml
This is a light weight gel serum and absorbs extremely quick into the skin. It has collagen and hyaluronic acid which are both very good to the skin. I love the natural ingredients in this gel and I know I will enjoy this serum! Thanks Ipsy for introducing me to this brand!

Pur - Disappearing Ink Concealer in Light - 2 ml
This is a very small sample but I think this is brand new from Pur. I have tried it on my under eyes and the coverage is not bad. It also blends quite nicely. However, there is an interesting sunburn warning saying that it contains AHA and you should "limit sun exposure while using the product and for a week afterwards". A week afterwards? That is quite strange...

Skone - Blending Brush
You can never have too many blending brush right? This Skone one is a mid-sized blending brush that you can also use it to apply crease color. It feels well made and I like the rose gold and black color combo!

Eden's Semilla Serums Review

0

Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post and the products featured were provided for review. All opinions are my own.

I was recently contacted by Eden's Semilla to review their Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Vitamin C Serum. I am all about effective natural skincare and after looking at their website I learnt that they do a range of natural oils, essential oils, and serums!

I love layering my skincare with different serums so I was happy to take on this review. Both the Hyaluronic Acid and the Vitamin C serums are in a clear liquid gel consistency. They feel light and absorb into the skin fairly quick. They come in a glass bottle with a dropper screw cap which is very hygienic and easy to use. I have been using them for a couple of weeks now after applying toner and before moisturizer.

Hyaluronic Acid Serum

The active ingredients in this serum are: Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Retinol, Aloe Vera, and Shea Extract.

This has an advanced formula of 20% of hyaluronic acid for maximum hydration.I always like to include hyaluronic acid to my skincare routine because its molecules can retain more than 1000 times its weight in moisture! After applying this serum, I can really tell that my skin feels hydrated and more plumped, especially in this winter weather. I look more healthy and glowy as well and my makeup looks more radiant on! I really like this high concentrated formula!

Vitamin C Serum

The active ingredients in this serum are: Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, Retinol, Vitamin E, Ferulic Acid, Rosehip and Jojoba Oil.

This has an advanced formula of 25% of Vitamin C which is essential for the production of collagen, a protein that keeps skin firm, elasticated, strong and healthy. The ingredients in this serum are a bit similar to the Hyaluronic Acid Serum. However, this has a more concentrated Vitamin C which provide more of an anti-aging formula and antioxidant to fight against the free radicals found in the environment - air pollution, the sun, and other contaminants. I haven't seen a dramatic anti-aging result from this serum yet but I trust the ingredients that are all good for my skin and I will continue to use this serum!

Overall I really like both of these serums. They are lightweight and easy to absorb into the skin without any tackiness. They don't have a scent and I like the dropper dispenser that they come in with. Most importantly I enjoy skincare that is natural and organic! I also really like the high concentration of the Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C which is not easy to find in other brands. Like!

You can browse Eden's Semilla products on their website HERE or you can also check out the Amazon.ca links below for these two specific serums:

0

Here's a super simple but quite cute manicure using only 2 polishes!

Here's a shot of this dotticure at the Colosseum in Rome, Italy!

The base was a gorgeous coral pink by Kiko. I then put some random black polka dots in various sizes and that was it!
