Elegant Jewels on Pink

0

Let's do an easy and elegant looking girlie manicure that can be worn on special occasions such as weddings or photo shoots!

This combo can be altered to any colors to your liking so you can match the color theme of the outfit!

For my base, I chose a satin pink and used a pink glitter on the 4th finger.

Then I put on some pearls and crystals on the middle finger close to the cuticle that was it! Simple right?

Purple and Pink Bubble Nails

0

When I first got the Tarte's Tartelette In Bloom eyeshadow palette I knew right away that I would have to do a nailart on this! This palette is great by the way. It is smooth, pigmented, and easy to blend! Everything that I need from an eyeshadow palette!

For the base, I used a nude pink and a fuchsia colored polish.

I then decided to make the gradient watercolor look by using the cotton buds technique for the bubble nails effect.

First, I dabbed the pink polish on the nude pink nails. Before they dry, I then used a Q-tip cotton to soak up the center of the polish drop, leaving a rim of color and a faded center.

Then, I simply repeated these steps using other colors and making a gradient effect from pink to darker purple towards the nail tips. And applied top coat at the end then we are done!

Products Used:
Pink - Zoya
Nude - Deborah Lippmann
Fuchsia, Purple - Julep

This month's bag is a fuchsia colored furry textured fabric which looks very glamorous for the holiday season!

What I got this month:

Ciaté London - Liquid Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick in Pin Up - 2 ml
I was most excited to see this product when I opened this month's bag! I haven't tried any of Ciate's liquid lipsticks and this one feels very comfortable on the lips. It dries down matte fast but it will transfer a little no matter how long you wear it. I don't mind a little transfer if it stays on the lips comfortably and it wears nicely! The application is very easy and quick for getting the perfect lip line. The color turns out darker on my lips than the swatch on my hand which I like too! Love this product!

NYX - Prismatic Shadow in Bedroom Eyes - 1.24 g
I got a metallic chestnut brown color which I am grateful for because I can use this more often than the other colors they have in this month's bag. The shadow is so smooth to touch in the pan and it is very pigmented. I can't wait to try it out on my eyes. I have high hopes!

Marc Anothony - Nourishing Argan Oil Conditioning Treatment - 50 ml
I love using hair mask or treatment as my conditioner and this argan oil one will be put to good use for sure! It has a nice sweet smell that I think I will enjoy! "Argan oil, keratin, and grape seed oil combat damage, breakage, and split ends."

Ren - Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask - 15 ml
This is a face mask with lots of fruit ingredients. It contains only natural ingredient which I am all about! It claims to minimize pores and diminish hyperpigmentation. I love face masks and I do at least 1 mask per day. Can't wait to try this!

Benefit - POREfessional Face Primer - 3 ml
I have multiple sample tubes of this products as well as the full size. I love this primer as it does what it claims - minimizing pores appearance! However, I am tired of receiving this from subscription boxes!

Blue and Multi-Color Dotticure

0

Here's a simple set of dotticure with blue and multi-color that I put together without really planning! But I think it turned out quite nice!

For the base, I used Julep's Isabela, a nice mid-toned blue, and OPI's Alpine Snow for the white on the 3rd and 4th finger nails.

Then I started with some polka dots using a pastel yellow and a light dusty pink on the white nails.

Then I added more dots using a teal and the same blue polish on the rest of the nails. Making it a light to dark color pattern.

I then used a toothpick to add some tiny dots in between the big dots to fill up the white spaces. After applying top coat and we are done!

Products Used:
Blue & Teal - Julep
Pink - Butter London
Yellow - CND
White - OPI
Dotting Tool, Toothpick

Blue and Silver Stars

0

This set of star studs nails was inspired by this pair of YSL sneakers! How fun is this pattern?

The base colors were a silver and a cream blue.

I topped the blue with a metallic sheer chrome blue so get a more accurate color to the shoes.

On the silver nails, I placed some star shaped nail decals on which match the rest of the blue color perfectly!

After top coating and we are done!

Polishes Used:
Blue - Julep
Silver - Mineral Fusion
Star Glitter

I really like this month's bag with the navy blue foam-feel fabric with gold stars and makeup print! I have been really liking the bag design from Ipsy lately! Good job Ipsy!

What I got this month:

Doucce - Freematic Blush in #49 Zen Orange - 3.4 g
I quite like the color and texture of this blush. It is quite smooth to swatch. I like the neutral peach color as well since it is quite flattening on my skin tone. The back of this blush has some magnets so you can pop it into any empty magnetic palette! Like!

theBalm Cosmetics - Mad Lash® Mascara in Black - 2.5 ml
I like theBalm already but I haven't tried this mascara. I always love getting deluxe sized mascara samples to try out since they last long even for the couple months of expiry date anyway! Can't wait to try this!

ModelCo - Contour Stick - 2.1 g
At first, I thought this was a lip crayon. Then I swatched it and thought "The color is not anything close to the tube at all!". Then I realized it's a contour stick! Haha. It goes on easily but when I blend it out with my finger it just disappeared. So it is better to apply a few layers and gently pat it out.

Tarte - Maracuja Oil - 7 ml
I love this oil and continuously re-purchase this! I used it at night after all my skincare routine to seal all my serum/moisturizer layers. I love Tarte and this is one of the products that I always have back up from them!

NAOBAY Natural & Organic - Renewal Antiox Eye Contour Cream - 5 ml
I have never heard of this brand but I love anything natural and organic especially for skincare! I will sure put this to good use. I love receiving sample sized eye cream since they can last quite a while!

Lilac and Cream Leopard

0

Let's do another leopard print with a softer color combo! I have always thought that animal print manicure can be very easy to do and yet quite impressive because you don't have to be perfectly neat at all.

For the base colors, I used a cream white and a lovely lilac, both by Julep.

I then simply and randomly painted some dots using the opposite colors. I just used the brush directly from the polish bottle!

Using a silver polish, I outlined the print with a tiny nailart brush. This does not have to be neat at all! I also added some silver dots in between the print to fill up some empty spaces.

Polishes Used:
Lilac - Julep's Alexa
Cream White - Julep's Lilian
Silver - Mineral Fusion
Nailart Brush

St. Patrick's Day Clover Nails

0

Here's a quick and easy St. Patrick's Day nail with, of course, green and gold!

The base colors are by Layla and Butter London. The green polish is actually a thermal polish that changes color from dark green to light green with different temperatures! You can see here the tips of the nails are darker (colder) than the rest of the nail.

Then I used a tiny nailart brush to draw on the clover leaves on the middle finger.

I also topped the other green nails with some gold glitter!

Polishes Used:
Green - Layla
Gold - Butter London
Gold Glitter - Julep

Nail Stickers on Ombre Pink Stamping

0

I realized I have quite a lot of nailart stickers that I have not put into good use so here I did a simple pink nails with floral stickers and stamping!

I used a cream beige and a baby pink as base colors.

On the 2nd and 3rd finger nails, I did a simple ombre/gradient with sponging on shades of pink. As usual, I used tape around the nails to protect the skin so I would have minimum clean up to do! I also stamped on some floral pattern on these nails but they showed up quite light.

I then used some flower stickers from this Etude House nail stickers sheet to add some decorations on the thumb and 4th finger nails. Girly and cute right?

Products Used:
Baby Pink - Butter London
Beige - Deborah Lippmann
Magenta - Zoya
Nailart Stickers - Etude House
Stamping Plate and Sponge
