Blue and Silver Dotticure

Here's easy dotticure for anyone! Sometimes I don't have much time to redo my nails and this simply dotticure is perfect! There are lots of colour combinations I can do in the future.

For the base, I used this gorgeous royal blue polish by Kiko.

Then I simply took a nail dotting tool and painted on some polka dots down the nails in decreasing sizes. That's it!

Polishes used:
Blue - Kiko
Silver - Mineral Fusion

This month's bag is a holographic aqua blue water proof material bag perfect for the pool side or going to the beach!

What I got:

Pacifica - Blush Duo in Beaming and Tenderheart
I was so excited to see this blush duo in this month's bag! We get 2, not 1 blush! That's great value. I like Pacifica because they use natural ingredients. These blushes are so smooth, creamy, and pigmented! The more nude one can also be used as a bronzer for some people. Very good quality. Love!

Ofra - Eyeshadow in Millenium Gold
At first, I thought this was a highlighter because of the gold color. This can definitely be both eyeshadow and highlighter. The powder is pigmented and swatches very nicely! I am happy to get this shade and I will be using it lots since I like golden eye looks!

Beauty for Real - Eyeliner in Whiskey
This is a very creamy eyeliner! I swatched it on my hand effortlessly. The shade is brown with some gold shimmer which is somewhat visible. I quite like the shade because I have too many plain black eyeliners and a shimmery brown one is a refresher to my stash!

It's a 10 Haircare - Leave-in Lite
I have heard of this haircare brand lots but never tried it. This is a lightweight version of the famous leave in treatment. I love leave-in treatment because my hair needs some hydration and love after all the colouring. Happy to get this!

First Aid Beauty - Face Cleanser
I have tried this cleanser and it's a simple and gentle cleanser. I like FAB for its gentle formula and this one does the job.

I also redeemed some Ipsy points for this Cake hand cream since some of my points will be expired if I don't use them!

Royal Blue Dry Brushing

0

I love doing drying brushing because I can do endless color combinations! This time is a darker toned manicure with royal blue and black and grew dry brushing.

For the base, I used a metallic royal blue polish by Julep and it's called Danica.

Then I started dry brushing with a black polish and did some vertical and horizontal strokes.

I repeated the dry brush strokes with a cream color and a pearly silver/white polish and called it a day!

Polishes used:
Blue, Black - Julep
Cream - Deborah Lippmann
Pearly Silver - Butter London

This month's theme is Pride Month. The bag is in shades of pink and red which is cute but I think it can be more colorful to match the theme.

What I got this month:

Makeup Up Forever - Hydrating Primer
I have tried this line of primer in the pore blurring one and liked that! I know there are many in this line. This hydrating one feels light and quite hydrating on my hand. But let's see how well it can prolong the makeup.

Kaleido Cosmetics - Blush in Primadonna
I got the shade in a golden pink and I likethe shade! It can look very flattering in most skin tones. I love that it is made with "entirely plant-based ingredients and is 100% cruelty-free, vegan, talc-free, phthalate-free and paraben-free". I love makeup products with more natural and safer ingredient! Gonna be wearing it lots for sure!

Estate Cosmetics - Lip Icing in Goodie
This is a very light pigmented pink gloss with tiny holographic shimmer. It is very comfy and easy to wear. I like to use it over a lipcolor as it is too sheer on its own. One thing I don't like about it is the wand does not pick up enough product and I have to re-dip it back at least twice for each application.

Dr Lili Fan Probiotic Skincare - Eye Cream
This eye cream is made with "anti-inflammatory, stimulating stem cell and lipopeptide technology to help give under eye puffiness, lines, and circles the boot." Yes to all please! It also says to apply a liberal amount and don't over dab in. I love receiving eye creams!

Formula 10.0.6 - Three Times Sublime
This is an interesting product that you can use as a cleanser, scrub, or face mask. I have never heard of that! It has grapefruit scent and is made with jojoba oil so it won't be too dry. I most likely will be using it as a scrub and leaving it on as a mask!

Watermelon Nails

0

Let's do a summer nailart to get into the mood of the season! I love doing fruits nailart during this hot time of the year because they are very bright and colourful!

For the base, I use a bright pink and a green.

On the 3rd finger, I painted a green tip across over the pink and I added the watermelon pattern on the 4th finger.

Then I added the seed and the white along the seam of the green tip and we have a slice of watermelon! Done! Bright and cute!

Polishes used:
Pink, White, Dark Green - Julep
Green - Mineral Fusion
Brown - Zoya

This month's theme is travel and the bag is a yellow with red mail stamp all over it. I think it's very cute! Like! 👍

What I got:

Trèstique - Mini Matte Blur Stick
I was most excited about this item from this month's bag! I love a good blurring primer and this one really does blur the lines on the back of my hand. It says you can also wear it over your makeup to instantly reduce shine and it won't mess with your makeup. How cool is that? Love!

First Aid Beauty - Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum
I love First Aid Beauty and I am happy to get this serum to try out! I already love their Ultra Repair Cream which is super moisturizing and can heal patchy dry spots. I love a good hydrating serum and always try to use one under my moisturizer. It's a clear gel which absorbs into the skin very quickly!

Veneffect Skin Care - Micro-Exfoliant
This is my first time hearing this brand. I use exfoliant all the time in both physical and chemical form. I like that this one contains grapeseed, soy, pomegranate, and willow bark, so it adds some beneficial properties on top of the scrubbing!

Slimissglam - Beauty Sponge
I use a beauty sponger everyday to blend my foundation and concealer. I mostly use the Beauty Blender. This will be my first time trying Slmissglam sponge. It seems to be a bit firmer than the Beauty Blender but it has the bell shape with a flat edge. I will see how this performs!

Pureheals - Centella Green Tea Mask
Another new brand to me. I do face mask everyday and love trying out new ones. This one contains green tea (detox) and vitamin C (brighten) - yes to both! It says you can also use it as a targeted spot treatment for blemishes and dark spots. Interesting. I will be using this tonight!

Blue Leopard Print

0

I always say I love doing animal print nails because they are very easy to make and yet can be quite impressive! This time I chose blue as my leopard pattern theme.

I used a cream white and silver polish besides the blue.

On the white nails, I dabbed some light blue polish straight from the brush in the bottle.

I then outlined the light blue patches with the darker blue polish using a detailing brush to complete the leopard look, and that was it!

Polishes used:
Blue and White - Julep
Light Blue - Spa Ritual
Silver - Mineral Fusion

This month's make up bag is a cute and pinkish tone one with butterfly print and rose gold details. I really like it and have already been using it in my purse!

What I got:

Ciate London - Startruck Double-Ended Stamp Liquid Liner
At first I didn't think I would like this stamper eye liner but after playing with it by stamping on my hand and pretend its a tattoo, I think this is so fun! The normal felt tip liner side is super black too. However, I wish the formula is more long lasting. The ink stamp seems to fade easily. But overall I love it!

Wander Beauty - Baggage Claim Gold Eye Masks
What a fun name "baggage claim"! I love any masks and this gold foil technology lets the serum to fully soak into the skin before evaporating. It says it can brighten, reduce dark circle, and hydrate. Yes to all please!

Paula Dorf Cosmetics - Bronzer in Bora Bora
This brand is new to me and the bronzer powder feels very smooth. It swatches nicely on my hand. I like that the color is not too dark so I can slowly build it up until I am satisfied. The bronzer has a brown undertone so I won't be using it as a contour shade.

Purifect by Symphony Beauty - Micellar Cleansing Water in Coconut
Another new brand to me. I learned about how the name "micellar" got used from reading about it on Ipsy website. "It looks and feels like your everyday H2O, but it contains microscopic molecules called micelles that act as magnets and attach to dirt, grime, and other icky stuff lingering on your skin." Hey you learn something everyday! I use micellar water once in a while (I normally use a cleansing oil) and will be using this for sure! It removed my hand swatches pretty darn well!

Ruby - Eyeshadow Blending Brush
OMG the brand Ruby? It's my brand!! Haha. I like brushes in this size and shape for my crease color. It is made with synthetic material and it feels quite soft!

Triangle Blocking Tips

0

Here's a simple color blocking manicure with no special tools required!

After the base pink polish had dried, I painted on the black and silver onto the corner tip of each nail. I made different sizes of the block for a more random look.

Then I simply paint over the tips with the other color and covering the first block partially. And that was it!

Black and Pink - Julep
Silver - Spa Ritual

What I got this month:

Pretty Vulgar - Make Them Blush in 111 Prim Vixen
I was most wowed by this product when I opened this box because of the gorgeous gold packaging. I have never tried anything from this brand and this blush is in a bright pink color! I don't usually go for blush color like this but hey, that's why we get subscription boxes right? It feels super smooth and luxurious to touch! I am excited to wear this on my cheeks!

PUR - Eyeshadow Palette
This is a pretty big palette with 12 eyeshadows. Most of them are very creamy and pigmented! This is my first time trying PUR eyeshadow and I quite like them. The color scheme here is more peach, pink and neutral, which is easy to wear.

The Vintage Cosmetic Company - Eye Brush Set
There are 3 brushes in this set and they are all nice and soft. I like that they are white so I can see if I have leftover colors on the brush before applying new color. Every makeup wearer can use more eye brushes right?

Butter London - Double Decker Mascara
This mascara claims to give you 200% thicker lashes with 314% increase in curl! Haha, 314% that precise hey? This is my first time trying Butter London mascara. I already love their nail polishes and I hope their make up is good too!

South Mane Beauty - Under Eye Gel Mask
There are 3 pairs of eye masks in the pack and I have already tried them under my eyes. They are soft gel patches that stay on very well. I like the feeling of the gel but it was hard to tell if they did anything after just 1 use. I love doing masks tho!
