This month's bag is a blue and shiny black one. I don't think it is anything special.

What I got:

Tarte - Amazonian Clay Blush in Feisty - 1.5 g
I love Tarte! I also love their Amazonian Clay blushes! I am so happy to see a Tarte blush in this month's Ipsy! This color is a gorgeous neutral to nude tone that would look great on most skin tones! Love!

MAC - Prep + Prime Natural Radiance - 6 mL
I am surprised to see MAC in Ipsy! I have never seen MAC in subscription boxes! Anyway, this claims to be a primer and highlighter, which I don't think so. There is no highlighting effect on this in my opinion. It also claims to control oil, hydrate, and smooth out the complexion. Sounds pretty good right? I can't wait to test this out!

Glamour Dolls x Lisa Frank - Matte Bronzer - 6 g
This is a more warm toned bronzer. I have never heard of this brand nor Lisa Frank. This bronzer feels smooth and pigmented. It's not bad! I like the leopard packaging too!

Clark's Botanicals - Deep Moisture Mask - Unknown Amount
I love masks especially moisturizing ones! I like the fresh floral scent of this mask. It claims to contain algae extract, Japanese green tea, and jasmine to calm, soothe, soften, and reduce redness.

Codage Paris - Scrubbing Cream - 15 mL
This face scrub is made with super fine rice particles. Interesting! It is free of nasty stuff like paraben and phtalates. I will put this to good use for sure!

Purple Quilted Texture

0

I saw this quilted nailart online and had to try it out myself since they are too pretty! However, it was harder to do than I have imagined. More practice is definitely required to perfect them!

I chose a purple pink polish by Julep called Julep. I painted a base layer and waited for it to dry.

Then after painting the 2nd layer, I took a dental floss stick and lightly pressed on the nail before the polish has set. It was quite a challenge to make everything even. You can see that some spots are shallow while others are too deep that you can even see the bare nail.

You can also see the rough edges of the dents.

I painted a layer of clear top coat over all the nails to smooth out everything and we are done!

Suspension Bridge on Ombre Orange

0

I have always wanted to do a nailart with bridges since I am a bridge engineer! This one is a simple one with a suspension bridge on the sunset background!

For the base, I used a shimmery orange polish by Mineral Fusion.

Then I did the gradient sky by sponging on a purple polish on the tips. As usual, I used tape around the nails to protect the skin so I would have minimal cleanup to do.

After the base had dried, I took a black nail striper and started drawing! I just used all black for the bridge for the effect of the sunset sky at the back. I might try to do a different type of bridge next time!

Products used:
Orange - Mineral Fusion
Purple - Julep, Butter London
Black Striper - Color Club
Sponge, Tape

This month's bag comes in burgundy wine color with subtle lace detail. The color is perfect for the fall season but I wish the lace is more noticeable.

What I got:

Urban Decay - 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion - 0.8 g
Everyone loves Urban Decay right? I am excited to get this eye pencil since I have tried these before and loved them! It swatches so easily and it truly "glides-on"! The staying power is good as well since I had a hard time removing the swatch! Love!

IT Cosmetics - Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder - Unknown amount
I own this powder in loose form and I love it. I use it all the time! It really smooths out the skin to hide pores and lines without making the skin look dry or cakey. In addition, it has skincare benefits while doing it too! Now I can have a pressed mini size for on the go. Yay!

Hey Honey - Cream Concealer - 8 mL
I have never heard of this product before and this is quite a thick concealer. It seems to have high coverage as well. It also contains lots of good skincare ingredients and I love makeup with skincare benefits!

skyn ICELAND - Eye Cream - 4 g
This eye cream claims to improve skin elasticity and stimulate cell rejuvenation to help the under eye area look firmer and smoother. I am all for that! I love getting eye creams from subscription boxes because they last a long time! Haha.

JM Solution - Jelly Cleanser - 30 mL
This cleanser claims to foam up like a "foam party" LOL. It also contains hyaluronic acid which is very hydrating and I like it already! I have never heard of this brand. It is from Korea and I know the Koreans know their skincare well!

Bumble Bee Nails

0

Buzz buzz... how cute is this set of bumble bee nails?? I love doing these colorful animal nails!

For the base, I used a black and a bright yellow polish.

Once the base had completely dried, I put some tape on the 4th finger nail to do the stripes.

Then I painted the black polish over it and then removed the tape right away. There we have the stripes!

On the 3rd finger nail, I painted a half moon on the tip with the black polish. Then I used a dotting tool to paint on the eyes and antennae, and we are done!

Products used:
Black Striper - Color Club
Black - Kiko
White - Collistar
Red & Yellow - Julep
Tape
Dotting Tool

This month's bag is a black studded vegan leather one and I really like this slightly edgy style! I will definitely put this in my purse as a makeup bag!

What I got this month:

Pixi by Petra - Beauty Blush Duo in Peach Honey - 4.5 g
I really like this product! Despite the name "blush", I think it is more like a highlighter. Both sides swatch so creamy and the color payoff is intense! The pink side is more metallic and the golden side is more natural. I am glad I got this!

Smashbox - Photo Finish Radiance Primer - 7.1 ml
Smashbox is known for their primers and this one does all the good stuff the original one does plus it adds glow!  I am excited to try this. It claims that it can also be worn on top of makeup as a highlighter but I don't think the effect is intense enough for that.

Luxie Beauty - Angled Shading Eye Brush - 207
I have a few of the Luxie brushes and they are pretty good. This one is no exceptions. It is soft and fluffy and feels good to the touch. I will sure use this to apply eye shadows!

E Nature - Birch Juice Hydro Sleeping Pack - 13 ml
I love using Korean sleeping packs as face cream at night as they are mostly very hydrating! This one contains Birch tree sap and I have never tried any skincare with that! It is supposed to be very hydrating and we shall see the results! I am excited to try this.

Hanalei - Papaya Enzyme Powder Cleanser - 5 x 1 g
I don't usually use cleansing powder as they can be a hassle and a mess. This one uses all natural ingredients and the powder also acts like a gentle scrub for the face. It claims that it won't leave the face feeling tight afterwards and it is suitable for sensitive skin. Let's see how this perform.

For the base, you can use any shades of green.

Then I painted a half circle with a white polish on the tips of the nails.

After these layers have dried, I painted some black dots along the seams of the two polishes and faded them out with smaller dots towards the green end. That's all!

Products Used:
Green - Mineral Fusion
White - Julep
Black - Kiko

Orange Pond Dotticure

0

Here's an interesting looking jelly pond dotticure! It was done with multiple layers. The key for this manicure is to use a jelly (not opaque) nail polish. Let's start!

I first painted some white polka dots in different sizes as the first layer. Then I painted a jelly orange polish over it.

I then repeated these steps sandwiching the white dots and the jelly polish. This will show the different depths of the polka dots. Cool right?

Polishes Used:
White - OPI
Orange - Julep
