This month's bag is a black studded vegan leather one and I really like this slightly edgy style! I will definitely put this in my purse as a makeup bag!

What I got this month:

Pixi by Petra - Beauty Blush Duo in Peach Honey - 4.5 g
I really like this product! Despite the name "blush", I think it is more like a highlighter. Both sides swatch so creamy and the color payoff is intense! The pink side is more metallic and the golden side is more natural. I am glad I got this!

Smashbox - Photo Finish Radiance Primer - 7.1 ml
Smashbox is known for their primers and this one does all the good stuff the original one does plus it adds glow!  I am excited to try this. It claims that it can also be worn on top of makeup as a highlighter but I don't think the effect is intense enough for that.

Luxie Beauty - Angled Shading Eye Brush - 207
I have a few of the Luxie brushes and they are pretty good. This one is no exceptions. It is soft and fluffy and feels good to the touch. I will sure use this to apply eye shadows!

E Nature - Birch Juice Hydro Sleeping Pack - 13 ml
I love using Korean sleeping packs as face cream at night as they are mostly very hydrating! This one contains Birch tree sap and I have never tried any skincare with that! It is supposed to be very hydrating and we shall see the results! I am excited to try this.

Hanalei - Papaya Enzyme Powder Cleanser - 5 x 1 g
I don't usually use cleansing powder as they can be a hassle and a mess. This one uses all natural ingredients and the powder also acts like a gentle scrub for the face. It claims that it won't leave the face feeling tight afterwards and it is suitable for sensitive skin. Let's see how this perform.

Kiwi Nails

0

I love painting fruits manicure because they are just too colorful and fun! Here's an easy kiwi nails to cheer you up!

For the base, you can use any shades of green.

Then I painted a half circle with a white polish on the tips of the nails.

After these layers have dried, I painted some black dots along the seams of the two polishes and faded them out with smaller dots towards the green end. That's all!

Products Used:
Green - Mineral Fusion
White - Julep
Black - Kiko

Orange Pond Dotticure

0

Here's an interesting looking jelly pond dotticure! It was done with multiple layers. The key for this manicure is to use a jelly (not opaque) nail polish. Let's start!

I first painted some white polka dots in different sizes as the first layer. Then I painted a jelly orange polish over it.

I then repeated these steps sandwiching the white dots and the jelly polish. This will show the different depths of the polka dots. Cool right?

Polishes Used:
White - OPI
Orange - Julep

Teal Dry Marble using Plastic Bag

0

I have never tried doing a real water marble manicure because it takes too much effort and it creates such a mess. Here's my simpler version of marbling using a piece of plastic bag!

First I painted all the nails with this gorgeous teal color by Julep.

Then I cut out a small piece of plastic bag for pressing. I dabbed a few polishes drops from a white, a black, and the same teal color on the nail. Then I simply took the piece of plastic and lightly pressed it onto the wet polishes. This will create a random mix of the 3 colors and that's it!

Polishes Used:
Teal and Black - Julep
White - Collistar

This month's bag is an ombre purple and pink one with the words "Wild and Free". I think there is also another color combination with similar style that others might have received.

What I got:

Seraphine Botanicals - Liquid Eye Liner in Black - 2 ml
It's my first time trying an eye liner from this brand. It has a felt tip and the pigment is pretty intense. It draws on easily and it claims to be budge proof. I will need to see how it performs on the eyes.

Sundays - Nail Polish in No. 28 - 14 ml
This claims to be a 10 free and non toxic polish. I mostly use non toxic nail polishes now so I am excited to have this! The color I got is grey with a tiny hint of cool lilac. I think this color is on trend with fall coming close!

Makeup Forever - Excessive Lash Mascara - 2.5 ml
Everyone loves Makeup Forever and one can never have too many mascaras! I love trying new mascaras and this brush is the type I like for volume, which is also the claim for this product. Can't wait to try this on the eyes!

Hey Honey - Face Scrub - 15 ml
This scrub contains "Propolis extract (a healing and anti-inflammatory compound produced by bees). It helps dissolve residue, minimize the look of pores, hydrate, and brighten up your skin." I am learning lots from reading about products! Haha. I hope it really does what it claims (there are lots and it sounds too good to be true!).

FORMULA 10.0.6 - Pores Be Pure Skin-Clarifying Mud Mask - 30 ml
I like to do a good mud mask for clarifying pores a couple of times a week. This one seems to have yummy ingredients like strawberry and rosemary. I will sure put this to good use!

Pet Paws on Teal

0

Are you a dog or cat person? I think I am a cat person for now. I love dogs too but they can be a bit of work and cats are easier!

For the base, I picked a teal, cream, and grey color. You can use any color combinations of your choice!

Then I simply took the dotting tool to paint on the paw print with the grey on the cream nails!

Polishes Used:
Teal and Cream - Julep
Grey - Mineral Fusion

Esqido Mink Lashes Review

0

Disclaimer: The products featured were provided for review but all opinions are my own.

I love wearing false lashes for on special occasions like weddings and night outs! I enjoy dramatic lashes with heavy eye makeup for these occasions. Esqido Mink Lashes was kind enough to let me choose a style on my own and sent them to me along with their lash glue for review!

On their website, there is a brilliant quiz that can help you choose the lashes that suite your needs. This quiz is very well made and programmed! I was quite impressed by it. Definitely give it a try! Click HERE to start your lash quiz.

Esqido eyelashes are handcrafted with 100% premium mink hair. There are so many different styles to choose from and you will definitely find some that suites you! The packaging is extremely luxurious. The style I got is called Lashlorette which are long and are crisscrossed making them look more natural on the eyes. The lashes at the inner corners are a tiny bit shorter giving them a more wispy look.

I also received the Companion Eyelashes Glue which is latex free. I like the glue but I don't think it is the strongest I have tried. It dries down completely clear and invisible which I appreciate.

I have worn these Lashlorette lashes for a couple of times now and I have really enjoyed them. They are light on the eyes and they look natural but still give me good volume and length. The top photos are without the false lashes but with mascara. I always put on some mascara first before wearing falsies because that makes my real lashes blend in more easily. These mink lashes are quite comfortable on the eyes and I can wear them for the whole day. They are light and I don't feel weighed down at all. The lash band is also very thin which is an important factor for me when I look for false eyelashes.

Overall I really like these lashes from Esqido and I definitely recommend them if you are looking for high end good quality mink lashes! Thanks Esqido for sending them for me to try!

Wine and Silver Dotticure

0

Here's an easy dotticure that you can do with so many other color combinations! I like to mix light and dark colors with different textures.

For the base, I chose a cream color, a burgundy wine, and a textured silver.

On the 2nd and 3rd finger nails, I used the same wine color to paint on some polka dots in different sizes close to the tip of the nails.

Then I took a silver polish to add more polka dots and overlapped some of the dots. That's all to it!

Polishes used:
Silver - Mineral Fusion - Cascade
Cream - Julep - Lillian
Textured Silver - Spa Ritual - Charleston
Wine - Butter London - Pash

Random Brush Strokes on Purple

0

How cool are this set of purple nails? It was super easy to do! Let's start!

I first painted my nails with a pastel purple with this Flormar polish.

I then used a darker purple polish to lightly paint on some strokes straight from the bottle's brush. I dried off most of the polish from the brush before making these strokes so it had a more dry-brushing effect.

Then I repeated these step with a black and a silver polish and we are done! Just be random!

Polishes used:
Silver - Mineral Fusion - Cascade
Black - Julep - Johnny
Pastel Purple - Flormar - Tender Lilac
Dark Purple - Kiko - 333

This month's bag is a collaboration with the Japanese cartoon Gudetama. I think it is supposed to be an lazy egg. The back of the bag is actually the back of the egg! Isn't it super adorable? I love it!

What I got this month:

Trifle Cosmetics - Raspberry Ripple Blush Palette - 3g
The box packaging of this is very cute! This is a trio blush palette with a peach pink, a mauve nude, and a deeper rosy pink blush. They seem to be all matte and they are super creamy at the pan! They also swatch nicely so I would assume they blend easily on the cheeks. But again, the sample sized pans are too small for an ordinary blush brush. It would be hard to pick up products from just one pan.

Beau Gâchis - Illuminator Brush
I have never heard of this brand before. This synthetic brush feels very soft and good quality to the touch. However, it is a bit small for a highlighting brush for my liking. I would probably use this for blending out under eye concealer since it is super soft!

Ciaté London - Wonderwand Gel-Kohl Hybrid Liner in Black - 0.8 g
This black eye liner has a matte finish. It swatches easily on my hand. However, the color is not very intense. You might need to go over a couple of times to get the black color payoff. I like that it has a brush on the other end for you to smudge or blend out the liner to create a smokey or softer look!

Tarte - Rainforest of the Sea Cleansing Gel - 7.5 ml
I love Tarte and I am happy to get anything Tarte from subscription boxes! This claims to dissolve waterproof makeup in a non-drying manner. Let's see how this perform!

111SKIN - Space Defence Bright Eye Gel - 5 ml
I love getting eye creams from subscription boxes because even the sample sized product can last you a long time! This is a lightweight eye gel that claims to brighten the eyes, minimize puffiness and fine lines. Yes please!
