This month's makeup bag is a denim fabric with a bright orange zipper and trim. This style didn't impress me as much as the other previous bags.

What I got this month:

NYX - Butter Lipstick in Ripe Berry - 4.5 g
I really like this shade as it is still winter season and I like to wear darker lip shades during this time. I have tried the Butter Lipstick line before and knew how nice they feel. They are creamy and smooth on the lips just like the name suggested! It has a creamy shiny finish too. Like!

Luxie Beauty - Blush Brush 514
I have received a couple of brushes from this brand before from Ipsy and have been enjoying them. This brush is a bit small for my liking as a blush brush. Maybe it is more suitable for an undereye setting brush for me. The bristles are bendy and not too dense.

Elizabeth Mott - Matte Bronzer - 0.7 g
This is a VERY tiny sample sized product for a bronzer which is not practical since most people use a large brush for bronzer. Anyway, the texture is smooth and it swatches nice on the hand. I just think I will not reach for this as a bronzer for its size. I might use this as an eye shadow though. It is quite pigmented and I think the product itself is not bad.

True Botanicals - Resurfacing Moisture Mask - 7 g
This mask claims to exfoliate and hydrate for a radiant skin in just five minutes. I love facial masks and I do at least one everyday! This will be put to good use for sure!

The Organic Pharmacy - Lip and Eye Cream - 10 ml
A cream for both lips and eyes? I am very intrigued. I love receiving organic skincare especially eye cream and I can't wait to try this out. I have found on Ipsy's product page that "On your eyes, it reduces puffiness, dark circles, and lines. On your pout, it hydrates and makes lips look plump and moist." Interesting that it works for both lips and eyes. Let's see how it performs.

Textured Royal Blue Dotticure

0

I quite like how this set of simple yet interesting manicure turned out.

Here's a shot of my mani with the real David sculpture by Michelangelo in the Accademia Gallery in Florence, Italy!

I love this sandy textured royal blue polish by Pupa! I used a total of two coats to achieve this intensity.

On the middle and 4th finger nails, I used a black and a white all over. Then I simply put some black dots on the white nails in a cross shape and a few more dots on the index finger and the pinky to complete the look.

Polishes Used:
White - Julep
Textured Blue - Pupa
Black - Kiko

Green Dry Brush Tips

0

I was quite happy with this set of simple but interesting looking manicure using the dry brush technique to create the soft grass like looking green tips!

Here's a shot of my mani with the gorgeous architecture of a church in Venice, Italy!

For the base, I used a cream beige color and a dark green polish on the pinky.

Then I used the same dark green polish to start my first layer of dry brushing on the tips on the cream colored nails.

And I simply added another layer of dry brushing using a lighter green color and that was it! Quick and easy!

Polishes Used:
Light Green - Mineral Fusion
Beige and Dark Green - Julep

Purple Plastic Bag Dry Marble

0

Here's a quick dry marble manicure using the plastic bag technique!

I wore this during my stay in Venice, Italy! Here's a pic of the mani with the pistachio gelato I was having by a small canal in Venice.

The purple was a new polish I got from Kiko, an Italian brand. I was surprised by the great quality yet affordable price of these polishes from the brand! They apply so smooth and creamy without streaks!

On the rest of the nails, I had a cream white and a light purple color by Julep.

For the dry marble look, I put a few drops of black, purple, and white polishes on the cream colored nail. Then I lightly pressed on the drops using a plastic wrap to mesh the polishes together. And VOILA! We have got a quick marble look here!

This month's bag is a grey faux leather with laser cut out of circles making a mesh look. It's not my favourite bag from them but it was inspired by skyscapers as stated on the website.

What I got this month:

Naked Cosmetics - Mica Pigment in Desert Sunset #02 - 1.5 g
I love this rose gold shimmer shade!! I have tried these pigments before and they are very nice and they contain minimum number of ingredients. I really like this color and I can't wait to use it on my lids!

theBalm - Bahama Mama Bronzer - 0.57 g
I have heard of this bronzer numerous times but have never tried it. The shade is neutral to cool tone which is what I prefer to use for contour/bronzing! However, this sample size is way too small as a bronzer because usually I use a big fluffy brush for that. But you can use this as a shadow or brow powder as well!

Manna Kadar Cosmetics - Paradise Blush - 3 g
I have never heard of this brand Manna Kadar. This blush shade is a nice peachy pink with a gold sheen. It reminds me of Nars Orgasm but a tad more pink. I really like the shade and the texture is quite soft and creamy too!

Temptu - Base Smooth and Matte Primer - 7.5 ml
This is a very light and liquid-y primer that claims to control shine and also minimize the look of pores. I am not sure about the pore filling aspect because usually pore primers are more thick in consistency. However, this brand is supposed to be a pro brand so I will sure test this out!

Purlisse - Blue Lotus Seed Mud Mask and Exfoliant - 15 ml
I love doing face masks and this one claims to detox, tighten, exfoliate, brighten...etc. It seems to have lots of benefits! Let's see how it works on my skin! I will definitely put this to good use.

Pink Polka Dots with Jewels

0

This set of manicure was inspired by the packaging of the Benefit Gimme Brow and it was super easy to do! This was their old packaging but it was still cute!

For the base, I used 2 tones of pinks and they were by Julep and Butter London.

On the darker pink nails, I used a medium sized dotting tool to put polka dots of the lighter pink all over the nails.

On the index finger, I lined some pink nail rhinestones along the cuticle curve to make it a little more elegant!

Products Used:
Pink - Julep
Baby Pink - Butter London

Elegant Jewels on Pink

0

Let's do an easy and elegant looking girlie manicure that can be worn on special occasions such as weddings or photo shoots!

This combo can be altered to any colors to your liking so you can match the color theme of the outfit!

For my base, I chose a satin pink and used a pink glitter on the 4th finger.

Then I put on some pearls and crystals on the middle finger close to the cuticle that was it! Simple right?

Pink - Zoya
Glitter - Butter London

Purple and Pink Bubble Nails

0

When I first got the Tarte's Tartelette In Bloom eyeshadow palette I knew right away that I would have to do a nailart on this! This palette is great by the way. It is smooth, pigmented, and easy to blend! Everything that I need from an eyeshadow palette!

For the base, I used a nude pink and a fuchsia colored polish.

I then decided to make the gradient watercolor look by using the cotton buds technique for the bubble nails effect.

First, I dabbed the pink polish on the nude pink nails. Before they dry, I then used a Q-tip cotton to soak up the center of the polish drop, leaving a rim of color and a faded center.

Then, I simply repeated these steps using other colors and making a gradient effect from pink to darker purple towards the nail tips. And applied top coat at the end then we are done!

Products Used:
Pink - Zoya
Nude - Deborah Lippmann
Fuchsia, Purple - Julep

This month's bag is a fuchsia colored furry textured fabric which looks very glamorous for the holiday season!

What I got this month:

Ciaté London - Liquid Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick in Pin Up - 2 ml
I was most excited to see this product when I opened this month's bag! I haven't tried any of Ciate's liquid lipsticks and this one feels very comfortable on the lips. It dries down matte fast but it will transfer a little no matter how long you wear it. I don't mind a little transfer if it stays on the lips comfortably and it wears nicely! The application is very easy and quick for getting the perfect lip line. The color turns out darker on my lips than the swatch on my hand which I like too! Love this product!

NYX - Prismatic Shadow in Bedroom Eyes - 1.24 g
I got a metallic chestnut brown color which I am grateful for because I can use this more often than the other colors they have in this month's bag. The shadow is so smooth to touch in the pan and it is very pigmented. I can't wait to try it out on my eyes. I have high hopes!

Marc Anothony - Nourishing Argan Oil Conditioning Treatment - 50 ml
I love using hair mask or treatment as my conditioner and this argan oil one will be put to good use for sure! It has a nice sweet smell that I think I will enjoy! "Argan oil, keratin, and grape seed oil combat damage, breakage, and split ends."

Ren - Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask - 15 ml
This is a face mask with lots of fruit ingredients. It contains only natural ingredient which I am all about! It claims to minimize pores and diminish hyperpigmentation. I love face masks and I do at least 1 mask per day. Can't wait to try this!

Benefit - POREfessional Face Primer - 3 ml
I have multiple sample tubes of this products as well as the full size. I love this primer as it does what it claims - minimizing pores appearance! However, I am tired of receiving this from subscription boxes!
