This month's bag is in red with a embossed masquerade mask which is pretty cool! I like it!

What I got this month:

Yensa - Tone Up Primer
A new brand to me. This primer says it can refine, smooth, and even out the skin tone. It has a little pigment and claims to color correct, blurs imperfections, and gives skin a subtle glow. All very good claims but does it sound too good to be true? Haha.

Tarte - Shape Tape Concealer in Light Sand
I love Shape Tape and I own this shade as well! It's a very full coverage concealer and it doesn't cake up badly like some other full coverage concealer. I am happy to get a travel size of this!

Space Case - Blush in It's Not Me, It's My Sign
I have never heard of this brand before but this seems to be a nice blush since it feels so soft to touch and it's very smooth on the skin. I got this in a cute girly pink shade. It's very pigmented as well. I like it!

Hey Honey - Eye Mask
This is an interesting product. It says to pat this eye mask underneath the eyes and wait for 3-5 minutes, then massage the remaining product into the skin. I have never tried doing something like this. I like bee/honey product and this one is loaded with propolis which is supposed to heal, balance, and hydrate the skin. Can't wait to try this!

Akar - Face Oil
I laughed out loud when I open this and found such a TINY bottle of sample. This thing must be expensive?? There is only 2 mL in this bottle. Anyway, this face oil contains baobab oil (high in oleic acid, antioxidants, and vitamins A, D and E) and jojoba oil. I like using a face oil at the end of my skincare routine and I might get 3-4 uses out of this.

Simple Purple and Yellow

0

Here's a simple diagonal two colors mani!

The base was a pastel yellow by Kiko.

Then I painted a triangle with this purple polish by Zoya.

I completed the mani with a silver glitter stripe along the seam and we are done!

Polishes used:
Yellow - Kiko
Purple - Zoya
Silver - Spa Ritual

This month's bag has a pair of eyes lashes on black canvas with gold accent trims and I think it's pretty cute!

What I got this month:

BRTC - Sheet Mask x 2
I have heard of this Korean brand years ago but haven't used their products lately. I love face masks and these sheet masks are just what I need. The Vitamin C one brightens the skin while and Vitamin F (is there a Vitamin F?) regenerates. Yes to both! I am excited to try these.

Trèstique - Lip Glas in Mumbai Magenta
This lip stick is quite comfortable to wear and it contains coconut and peach oils. However, it claims to be highly-pigmented which I do not agree. The pigment is low and you need to do a few swipes to see the color payoff.

Benefit - Hoola Matte Bronzer
I am actually quite disappointed to get this, because this product has been around for a long time, and I own both the full size, travel size, in a palette... already. Other than that, this is a great cool toned bronzer and it's perfect for contouring. It is very blendable and it gives a even finish.

Evelyn Iona - Green Tea Primer
This is my first time using a product from this brand. This primer uses organic green tea and avocado oil which provide hydration and antioxidant. It feels like a light cream on the skin. I will most likely still use another pore blurring primer on top.

Neuma - Leave In Conditioner
It's always nice to get travel sized hair products because I need products on the go for my long color treated hair. This spray is nice and lightweight and it claims to detangle, hydrate, tame frizz, repair and protect from heat styling. Yes to all!

Coral Waterfall Nails

0

Let's do another easy waterfall style manicure! You can use any color combination you like.

This time I used a bright coral as the base.

Then I painted on some thin straight strokes using a fine detailing brush with white, purple, and lilac.

It is always nice to add some glitter! I used a gold one to complete the look.

Polishes used:
Coral, Gold - Julep
Dark Purple - Zoya, Kiko
Lilac - Flormar
White - Deborah Lippmann

FabFitFun Fall 2018

0

FabFitFun is a quarterly (4 boxes each year, 1 box per season) subscription box with beauty, fitness, and lifestyle items. It is $49.99 USD per box with more than $200 plus worth of products.

This is my first box from FabFitFun and I subscribed to this because of the spoiler preview. This is the good thing with this subscription, that you get to know what will be coming in next box and decide to join or not. I will probably be canceling the subscription and might join again if there is another box that interests me!

What I got:

Vince Camuto - Tote in Red Desert
This tote grabbed my interest in joining FabFitFun. I want something like this for work to throw in my laptop, lunch, and miscellaneous items! I like Vince Camuto as a brand (really like their shoes!) This tote is made of vegan leather and it is huge! I can throw in all the things I need! Yay!

GlamGlow - Bubble Sheet Mask x2
I love GlamGlow and I have tried most of their masks in a tub. I think this sheet mask is a new product from them. It says the sheet mask will bubble up on the face and it will detoxify and deep cleanse the skin in 3 minutes. Interesting! You need to rinse out the face like you do after using a face wash. Can't wait to try!

Beauty Blender
Do I need to explain anymore? This is a good value item. I use this blender everyday for blending foundation and concealer so another one is always welcome!

Alfred Teapot
Another item that also drew me to this box. How cute is this teapot!? I love drinking tea, especially loose tea leaves, and I will sure put this into good use!

Cylo - Bluetooth Wireless Headphones
Another item that I really wanted from this box when I saw the spoiler was this wireless headphones! I like going for a walk while listening / watching something on my phone and this would be perfect without the wire! I got the chic white one!

Grown Alchemist - Polishing Facial Exfoliant
I have never heard of this brand before but this looks fancy in a metal tube! It is a gentle face scrub with some beneficial properties. I will try this for sure!

Farmacy - Eye Cream
I love getting eye cream from these boxes. I know this brand uses good natural ingredients and I am excited to try it! It claims to reduce fine lines and dark circles, I think all of us would want that.

Skin&Co Roma - Shower Gel
The scent of this shower gel includes wild sage, lemon, and alpine rose, which is inspired by farmers in Capri, Italy. Pretty cool and it sounds high end!

Luna - Rica Bar
I got the salted caramel flavoured cashew butter fruit and nut bar. It is quite small and it is advertised as a snack bar on the go. It is also certified organic! However, I didn't enjoy the texture of this. This isn't your normal granola bar, it is more like a fruit and jam snack with mushy texture.

Pastel Dry Brush on White

0

These pastel dry brushing nails are so chic and they are actually very easy to do! Let's start!

I used a white polish as base and painted the nails approximately 3/4 way in close to the cuticles. Then I took the pastel pink, purple, and mint green and started to do some dry brush strokes in both horizontal and vertical directions.

I wasn't impressed by just the pastel colors and I thought there was something missing. So I took a darker glittery pink and lightly dry brushed on top. And I thought that made a more complete look.

Finally I lined the seam with a glitter purple and called it a day!

Polishes Use:
Purple - Julep
Mint Green - Flormar
Pink - CND
Glitter Purple - Color Club
Glitter Pink - Sephora Formula X
White - Collistar

This month's bag comes in a bright orange canvas fabric with yellow trim. I think it's a bit boring to be honest but I guess it's bright enough for the summer.

What I got this month:

Laritzy - Lipstix in Plum
This is my first time trying a lip product from this brand. This lip crayon is very creamy and slides right onto the lips. The plum color is a good prep for fall but I think it's still a bit early for that?

Billon Dollar Brows - Universal Brow Pencil
I like retractable brow pencils (well all pencil should be retractable!). This is a greyish brown shade that would work with most people. I like that it's not too pigmented so you can slowly build your brow to your desire. It goes on easily too. Not bad!

Hey Honey - Peel Off Mask
The main ingredient of this peel off mask is propolis, which is a "resinous mixture honeybees make that help fight acne, encourage cell growth, decongest pores, and heal damage". I have tried a propolis face cream before and I enjoyed it so I am excited to try out this mask!

Murad - AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser

I know Murad makes awesome skincare products and I am excited to try this exfoliating cleanser. This has AHA and BHA to lift dead skin cells and it claims to "brighten up your complexion, even things out, and help your skin retain moisture". Yes please!

MAC - False Lashes Mascara in Extreme Black
I have tried this mascara before and I liked it for the thick lash look which is the most important factor for me for a mascara. It has a dense tapered brush which is nice to deposit enough mascara onto your lashes.

Blue and Silver Dotticure

0

Here's easy dotticure for anyone! Sometimes I don't have much time to redo my nails and this simply dotticure is perfect! There are lots of colour combinations I can do in the future.

For the base, I used this gorgeous royal blue polish by Kiko.

Then I simply took a nail dotting tool and painted on some polka dots down the nails in decreasing sizes. That's it!

Polishes used:
Blue - Kiko
Silver - Mineral Fusion

This month's bag is a holographic aqua blue water proof material bag perfect for the pool side or going to the beach!

What I got:

Pacifica - Blush Duo in Beaming and Tenderheart
I was so excited to see this blush duo in this month's bag! We get 2, not 1 blush! That's great value. I like Pacifica because they use natural ingredients. These blushes are so smooth, creamy, and pigmented! The more nude one can also be used as a bronzer for some people. Very good quality. Love!

Ofra - Eyeshadow in Millenium Gold
At first, I thought this was a highlighter because of the gold color. This can definitely be both eyeshadow and highlighter. The powder is pigmented and swatches very nicely! I am happy to get this shade and I will be using it lots since I like golden eye looks!

Beauty for Real - Eyeliner in Whiskey
This is a very creamy eyeliner! I swatched it on my hand effortlessly. The shade is brown with some gold shimmer which is somewhat visible. I quite like the shade because I have too many plain black eyeliners and a shimmery brown one is a refresher to my stash!

It's a 10 Haircare - Leave-in Lite
I have heard of this haircare brand lots but never tried it. This is a lightweight version of the famous leave in treatment. I love leave-in treatment because my hair needs some hydration and love after all the colouring. Happy to get this!

First Aid Beauty - Face Cleanser
I have tried this cleanser and it's a simple and gentle cleanser. I like FAB for its gentle formula and this one does the job.

I also redeemed some Ipsy points for this Cake hand cream since some of my points will be expired if I don't use them!
